Memorial Feast of Alvares Mar Julius

The mortal remains of Late and glorified Alvares Mar Julius (Metropolitan of Goa, Indian and Ceylon), is entombed at the St Mary’s Orthodox Syrian church. The church will celebrate the 99th Memorial Feast of the glorified saint from 17th September 2023 to 23rd September 2023. You are cordially invited to join us in spirit of prayer and devotion for this auspicious occasion and receive bountiful blessings by His Grace’s intercession and prayers.  Dear all. The 100th Memorial Feast of L.L Alvares Mar Julius will be celebrated from 17th to 23rd September 2023. The Malankara Metropolitan and the Catholicos of the East Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, the diocesan Metropolitan H.G.Yakob Mar Elias, other Metropolitans, and the reverend priests of the Church will lead the events of observance. The clergy trustee, the laity trustee and the Malankara Association secretary will also attend the events. You are cordially invited partake in the festivities with prayers & offerings. A Public Convention will be held at Talegao Community Center on 22nd September 2023. Shri P S Shreedharan Pillai, Hon’ble Governor of Goa will Grace the occasion as the chief Guest.
